29 to 30 and the Eve of the X

Hi all,

I have been get the blues lately, but I think the holiday isn't involved as much as being lonely here in Florida. These things come and go as per usual, and as I head towards my b-day wondering what in the hell have I actually approved upon. I am more comfortable finanically, one of the things I wanted to get done this year. My social skills are still non-exsistant, which is something I was hoping to work on.

But all and all, today and tomorrow are going to be slow and the thought of my gifts is a happy thought. Also that I do have vaction time to look forward to, and that I might get a floor ticket to the Royal Rumble after the holiday. Plus the holdiay pay I am getting next paycheck.

Maybe after the weekend, I will be happier, and things will pick up. For now, I will just go sing tonight and hope that my gift tomorrow makes me feel better.

Cena new Christmas this year

It has been an interesting X-mas here in FL.

No snow, which is different for me. But the holiday spirit is alive and well. The Ford and Edison estates down here are lit up and decorared with tress in every house. I tonight saw a X-mas parade on the water, which was an experience in itself.

Big news today is that I got to interview yet another wrestler today. I got to interview WWE Champion John Cena, which was fun. There were over 1500 fans waiting for his John Hancock and it just goes to show you I am not the only one who likes the sport. He was a great guy to interview and did get an autograph. The WWE rep wasn't allowing photos. But I do have a contact with them now and can get interviews next time they are around. Going to the Royal Rumble presser in Miami next month isn't out of the question.

I heard last week that I am going to only get one months salary instead of the three promised--because I came in after they announced the sale of the station. Hey, one month is better than nothing.

I will post before X-mas. Only a few people working here during X-mas as well. 35 days and counting.

Laters.

Ho Ho Hold on there

Okay, update time...

First off some great news. As ownership, the oldcompany, Emmis, decided to reward us for keeping with the station through the transition. And this isn't a little bonus either. Three months pay. You heard me right--three months. So its time to catch up on bills, buy that new computer, and save some for when I move out of the market or emergencies.

My van, which has been acting up since I bought it, finally said enough and wouldn't start. I towed it to the mechanic and they rewired it. I drove it hope and she wouldn't start again. I had her towed back to the mechanic who informed me my computer was faulty. So I had to replace that. over $700 worth of work on the thing. But I am going to start to invest in it anyways.

Most of my shopping was online this year. Easy and faster than doing it myself.

I started a new project, as I have started to write what I want my kids to learn when and if it happens. Its interesting stuff for another time.

33 days and counting. Laters.
